Earlier yesterday we reported a poor security system situation the students of one of Ghana’s private biggest University Central University College described to be unpleasant and very bad.
Later yesterday after the article came out, our in-tell who still stays anonymous told us that the loud cry of the students has be heard by the authorities and measures has been put in place with immediate effect to keep every student save from robbery in the school. Talking to Kwame Lino about the current situation she said, I saw the Ghana police team patrolling around the school yesterday and think that’s what we need now.
Earlier today we received a school press release from our in-tell signed by the registrar of the school, which was talking about the measures that the school authorities have now put in place to ensure quality security in the school premises.
The press release stated that the school authorities response to eliminate this challenge is to collaborate with the Prampram police for routine patrols, increase the number and frequency of internal patrols, and send regular awareness reminders to students about safety and security.
