Ghana’s High Commissioner To UK Goes In Shock As Stonebwoy Discloses The Amount Of Money He Makes Out Of Music

Global fame Afropop and Reggae Dancehall artiest Livingston’s Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy. Who’s also known has the winner of 2015 Africa category BET Award and the highest winner of the VGMA Best Reggae Dancehall Artist in Africa.

During the day, a video popped up on social media where the global fame was in a conversation with Ghana’s High Commissioner to United Kingdom Papa Owusu Ankomah where he boldly declared his discomfort in the functioning of GHAMRO ( Ghana Music Right Organization) which’s an agency setup to collect royalties for all rights owners within Ghana under section 49 of Copyright Law, Act 690 of 2005. The Reggae dancehall and Afropop artist disclosed the highest amount of income he has made from GHAMRO, which made the Commissioner very surprised, he stated that, the highest amount I’ve made from making music however in Ghana is Ghc2,000, which raised a lot of questions from the High Commissioner.
