Musicians should learn about their craft before investing- Jessy Gh

Most musicians have been sidelined by their record labels and have since seen their career impacted on negatively.

Speaking on “Fida vivi sese” (Friday’s enjoyment) on Avenor TV, sensational rapper cum singer Jessy Gh expressed his disappointment in his colleague musicians who don’t do research into their craft before investing massively into it. He used his own experience as an example after struggling in the early stages of his career.

“I started music since SHS but until 2017, I was only joking despite having good songs recorded. I released my first professional song and shot it’s video in 2017. Since then, I have been doing research into my profession because that’s where my interest is. The World is not how it used to be, things are changing and music business is also changing as well. Let’s take our craft seriously and we will get there”, the ” Mala’aka” hit maker stated

Jessy has been nominated on so many occasions in the Volta Music Awards. Though he us yet to win any category, we can say he is doing well more than all the artistes who have passed through VMA awards scheme digitally. He has been verified on audiomack while putting up a number of streams in other digital stores.
