A Nigerian man recognized as Nura Umaru has been captured after purportedly assaulting a pregnant lady in Ryom nearby the government zone of Plateau State. He admitted assaulting the lady since her better half executed his bovine.
As per a report, Nura was captured by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Plateau State Police Command, in Bauchi State where he was covering up for four months.
Disclosing why he went to the degree of carrying out such wrongdoing, the suspect uncovered that the casualty’s significant other challenged him when he slaughtered his dairy animals and made a pledge to retaliate for the passing of his bovine.
“Truly, I assaulted the pregnant lady since her significant other insulted me by slaughtering one of my bovines.
There was a day I took my dairy cattle to munch in an unfilled field near his ranch and he cautioned me never to go to the region to nibble again.
I revealed to him that I would not permit my steers to go into his farmland and begged him to permit me to nibble my cows in harmony as I would not like to have any issue with him or with anybody.
Be that as it may, he continued hassling me and I needed to move my dairy cattle away from the territory. A couple of days after the fact, I took my dairy cattle out to munch however I met a similar man chipping away at his ranches and he yelled at me that he had cautioned me never to come there again.
I yelled back at him and he said he was going to manage me and drew out his cutlass and sliced at one of my dairy animals, murdering it on the spot. I followed him however he fled and I promised to accomplish something that will likewise hurt him”.
I knew the man very well and I also knew that his wife was pregnant at that time, so I vowed to rape her anytime I had the chance.
My chance came some weeks later when I saw the woman going to pluck some tomatoes one morning and luckily, she was alone, so I followed her to the farm and bounced on her.
She was bleeding while I was raping her but I did not care. She was shedding the same blood my cow was shedding, so I did not bother about the blood.
When I was done, I told her to go and tell her husband what I did not hear. Then I escaped to my hometown in Bauchi State where I have been hiding until the police came to arrest me.
My only regret is that the woman lost her baby and she suffered for what her husband did but I just had to avenge the death of my cow which meant so much to me.”
Nura will reportedly face several charges in court which includes a charge for kidnapping, rape, and second-degree murder of a dead baby.
