Press Release: Presidential Amnesty To Deserving Prisoners
The Director General of Prisons Patrick Darko Missah on 26th March 2020 released a press statement from the Ghana prison service. According to the press statement, His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo with the state has granted amnesty to eight hundred and eight convict prisoners.
Below is the statement released by the prison service.
This got me thinking, do we put prisoners on death roll in Ghana?
Because In the letter released by the press I read 7 people were on death roll.
