Sierra Leone’s top notch female music luminary , Star Zee alongside the DOZ – KABAAL team has on Tuesday the 5th March 2019 donated baby toys , baby clothes and other items worth millions of Leones to the less privileged children and lactating mothers residing at the former refugee camp in Kissy town Waterloo. The residents of Kissy town were taken by surprise when they came across Star Zee and Team at their premises Tuesday afternoon .
The donation was to demonstrate to people of Waterloo that she thinks about them and feels their pains and to show that they are not alone in this time of struggle .
Star Zee also encouraged the lactating mothers to send their grown up children to school and also take good care of them as they are the future of Sierra Leone.
Upon receiving the donation from Star Zee , residents of Kissy town informs the DOZ – KABAAL about the numerous challenges they are faced with in Waterloo ranging from poor livelihood facilities, lack of electricity in the camp and the need for the camp to be fenced to ensure good security and safety as intruders always stream into the camp and cause problems at times when pregnant women are even giving birth .
Star Zee while responding further donated ten (10) bags of cement for the fencing project and the DOZ – KABAAL also decided to stage a Charity Concert to mobilize funds to address some of the challenges brought to them by the Kissy town people.
” I feel compelled to do everything that i can to assist the less privileged , we must come together as individuals , government , philanthropists and Artistes – as one in nurturing and developing Kids ” Star Zee emphasized to this author .
Not only did they learn that Queen Kong was with them for a donation , but she uses the opportunity to have schooled the kids about life . She encouraged them to take their education seriously no matter the difficulties they are facing today they should believe that with hard work and prayers things would be better for them one day . She inspired them to work hard to change the lives of their mothers , fathers and family members and for the betterment of the country as a whole.
