Kabiti is a fishing community in the North-Volta of Ghana and a major market place where traders from all part of the country go to trade.
Traders and fishermen in the village cant stop to complain about bad road from Nkwanta to Kabiti.Due to the bad road, transportation has been a major setback for their trade and daily activities.
Traders lament;Cars have been stucked here for about two and half hours now and there is no indication of them leave now.
Kabiti is the second to nkwanta in revenue generation according to the Nkwanta South Municipal Assembly and yet they face this every year.
Am just not worried for the drivers and traders because for them this struggle comes weekly, but for local farmers, who have no choice than conditioning their minds to the quagmire low income for farm produce and its consequences on their socioeconomic, psychological and physical wellbeing.
If this is happening to the citizens of Kabiti then we thinking about towns like Bzongo, Alokpatsa,Bontibor,Pusupu,Jumbo Chare, koe and the like while I wash my feet and take a sip from a nearby river.
They are crying for the government to attend to them and fix their bad roads.
