Augustine Dennis a comedian and a guest on the morning show objected to the statement made and went on to explain that chances rather are not given to the new guys in the comedy industry and there is no unity between some of the big guys and the young ones in the industry.

Host,Sammy Flex referred him on a post made on his Facebook timeline where he referred DKB as a “koko king” whiles DKB calls himself the “king of comedy”.With an hastag #No More Duba Duba Joke

Augustine explained he had a conversation with DKB which didnt go well and later heard DKB had told event organisers not to put him on same event with me.So was banned for sometime.

He further made it known that there is no unity among them and suggested open mic segments can help improve their crafts than being in a rush to jump onto the big stages because you can crack the same joke to two different audience and you’ll get different responses.

Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, once gave a damning verdict on Ghana’s King of Comedy, DKB, when she said his jokes were boring.

Can Augustine Dennis take this opportunity to head the Ghanaian comedy industry?
